Charity & nonprofit website design
Charity website design, built as governance infrastructure.
Most website conversations start with how it looks. That is the wrong test. For an established charity or NGO, the site is where a funder runs due diligence, a journalist checks a claim, and a trustee opens a link in a board pack. I design and build websites so that what they find holds up — and I do it as one specialist, not an agency.
How it works
One diagnosis, then the right build.
These are not three options on a menu. They are a sequence with a fork: every engagement begins with the Blueprint Audit, and what happens after it depends on what the diagnosis finds.

The Blueprint Audit
A governance diagnostic across two to three weeks: stakeholder mapping, a full technical and accessibility audit, and a board-ready report with prioritised findings. It stands alone. If targeted fixes would solve the problem without a rebuild, the report says so.

The Monthly Partnership
A rolling subscription covering all Webflow design and development, with the build delivered as the first phase and no separate project fee. Choose this if your site needs to keep changing: campaigns, programmes, new pages, ongoing accessibility monitoring.

Implementation
A fixed-scope rebuild on a fixed timeline and price, scoped from the audit findings. Choose this if the work sits inside a restricted grant, a tender, or a capital budget that has to be committed as a single figure.
How Implementation worksThe same standard, whichever route you take
The route changes how the work is scoped and paid for. It does not change what gets built.
Accessibility as routine
WCAG 2.2 AA built in from the design stage and monitored as routine work — the UK benchmark since October 2024, and for an NGO the mission enacted.
Compliance already answered
Charity Commission and equivalent regulator disclosures, privacy, consent and governance documents present, current and findable when a funder or regulator checks.
A team that publishes without waiting
Built on Webflow with the Lumos framework so text, posts, team changes and new pages are handled in house, in minutes, without a developer in the way.
One person, directly accountable
No account manager, no ticket queue, no handoffs. You brief me, I build it, and when something breaks you message the person who can actually fix it.
Who this is for
Communications and Executive Directors at established charities and NGOs, somewhere between £500,000 and £10 million in annual income, entering a period where credibility matters more than it used to — a leadership change, a funding round, a campaign, increased scrutiny.
Where I'm probably not the right fit
If you need a brochure site quickly and cheaply, or a brand refresh, someone else will serve you better than I would. Both are completely legitimate — they're simply not where I focus.
The next step
Start with the diagnosis.
The Blueprint Audit is £2,500 and takes two to three weeks. It identifies what is actually failing, maps your stakeholder landscape, and delivers a board-ready roadmap. It stands alone, with no obligation to continue.
